Jack N. Zaharopoulos

Mr. Zaharopoulos was appointed by the United States Trustee effective May 1, 2021. Mr. Zaharopoulos' office is responsible for administering all Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases filed in the Middle District. Prior to having been appointed as Trustee, Mr. Zaharopoulos worked as a staff attorney for the Standing Trustee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and then as an attorney in private practice in Chicago, Illinois. He earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and his J.D. from Marquette University Law School.

This office is responsible for administering Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases assigned to Chief Judge Henry W. Van Eck and Judge Mark J. Conway.

Our office covers 33 counties in central and eastern Pennsylvania. The Middle District of Pennsylvania has 3 geographical divisions: Wilkes-Barre, Harrisburg and Williamsport. For a map of the area we cover, go to the map of our district's divisional offices.

We accept

  1. personal checks,
  2. money orders,
  3. cashier's checks and
  4. electronic payments only through TFS.

Our office does not accept cash, or payments via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, gift cards or any other service other than TFS.  TFS is an easy-to-use, reliable, secure automated payment system for making timely plan payments to the Trustee.  You can find more information about TFS at tfsbillpay.com.
